Product you can trust, with service you can count on.

Gordon Fabrics is your in-house sourcing, development, and logistics team. Over the years, we’ve sold to some of North America’s largest manufacturers, retail fabric stores, and new up-and-coming designers. Our customers often think of us as a one-stop shop for their sourcing needs. We know how much time it takes to “shop around” so we’ve made it our mission to thoughtfully sell fabrics that meet the high standards we set for ourselves.

At Gordon Fabrics, we’ve worked with some of our suppliers for 20+ years. These suppliers know the level of quality we expect on behalf of our customers, and we partner with our customers to ensure a more seamless experience.

Fashion Fabrics

We all love beautiful clothes — but what makes a piece stand out (and stand up) over time is the fabric.

Gordon Fabrics has earned an exceptional reputation over the years as a stand-out supplier of fashion fabrics.  We supply several of North America’s largest manufacturers, as well as new up-and-coming designers. Our secret sauce is our merchandisers, who live and breathe the fashion industry. It's not uncommon to see our merchandising team spend hours sorting through hundreds of samples and colour swatches searching for the perfect one; it may feel overboard to some, but we think our obsessive attention to detail is part of the magic.

Each year, Gordon Fabrics puts together two collections, one for each season. The collections offer a variety of prints, plains, and novelty fabrics that we hope will inspire you and excite your customers. Our fabrics are carefully merchandised, making it easier to build stories around, and our stock programs assist smaller designers who don't want to bear the risk of buying full minimums from offshore mills. We know how difficult “shopping around” can be, so we’re proud to be a one-stop shop for your sourcing needs.

Quilting Fabrics

Top-quality products for our discerning retail fabric store partners.

No one “knows” fabric better than the stores that supply sewers and quilters. We understand the level of quality your customers are looking for. From the very beginning, Gordon Fabrics has been a major supplier to over-the-counter retail fabric stores. We are proud to be the exclusive Canadian distributor of Oasis Fabrics, Fabri-Quilt/Paintbrush Studios, and Lynette Anderson.

We also import a variety of our own prints and plains direct from mills in Asia, which sets us apart from other distributors. For over 20 years, we have successfully brought our own uniqueness to the craft market with our wide selection of designs.

We carry an extensive range of colours in Minkie Bubble and Plain (available in both 60” and 90” widths), as well as stock Fibrefill, Quilter’s Muslin, and Cotton Canvas.

Interfacing & Batting

We carry an extensive range of interfacing & batting from Pellon Consumer Products & Legacy Batting and Veratex Lining Ltd. From garment production to home sewing, we have something suitable for every type of project. Not sure which product is right for you? Ask one of our knowledgeable team members.

Please note, these are available for sale within Canada only.

Custom Sourcing

Can’t find exactly what you need? Let us make it for you!

At Gordon Fabrics, a large portion of our business is custom sourcing and developing fabrics that you may not see on our website. We have over 60 years of industry experience and our long-standing relationships with mills means they can make and develop all types of fabrics you may not see online. We’ve created custom prints, colours, yarn dyes for designers, equestrian, school uniforms, and much more.

Some examples of custom sourcing we can do are:

  • Custom colours

  • Custom yarn dyes

  • Custom screen and digital printing

  • Recolour and/or resize existing prints and/or yarn dyes

  • Provide us with a fabric and we’ll make it for you

Custom sourcing is a fun and rewarding process however it may not be suitable for everyone; our minimums are significantly higher for custom sourcing. To see if this process may be a good fit for you, the first step is to contact us.
